Meeting with a Natural Born Medium

A couple weeks ago I met with a natural born medium. Her name is Jamie Butler and even though I've been taking mediumship classes and meeting with mediums for a couple years now she still shocked me. A natural born medium is someone that is born with the ability to hear and see spirits. She can actually see spirits with her physical eyes and hear them talking with her physical ears. I'm honestly not sure how that even works because I know that spirits communicate energetically through our chakras. It's almost as if she has one foot in the physical 3rd dimension and one foot in the 5th dimension which is very interesting.

Mediumship is like any other job, the skillset is on a spectrum where you find people that are really good, average, and not as good. I'm not a sports fan but Jamie Butler is like the LeBron James of mediumship. I had found Jamie through a book she channeled called My Life After Death by Erik Medhus. Erik Medhus took his own life at the age of twenty and his mother, Elisa met with Jamie to connect with her son. Jamie provided evidence to his mother that Erik still existed but just in different form, and eventually they wrote this book together. Jamie channeled Erik's words on what it's like to die and what the spirit realm is like and Elisa transcribed the book. I definitely recommend this book.

Anyway, let's just say I was excited and nervous to talk to her and surprised I could get an appointment. Shockingly, Jamie joined the call excited to talk to me, little old me. I didn't get a chance to talk because right away she told me, "This is real, what's happening to you, this is real real". She was talking about the visits from the orbs and my Arcturian friends. Jamie had read my auric field before the call and shared what she saw. Jamie can see the auric field which is the energetic field that surrounds the physical body. The auric field says a lot about what's going on with a person emotionally. Jamie then started speaking with my Arcturian soul family and she was having a conversation with them and telling me what they were saying. She was very detailed about why they were visiting me, I discussed this in my last blog post. Jamie also provided a lot of details about my future. I'm still recovering from the session with her because it was a big puzzle piece in my journey to meet with her. Yes, I fully believe she can see and hear spirits, and also see the auric field. Yes, I think she's the real deal.

I have to admit that meeting with a medium that has her abilities is like night and day compared to meeting with an average medium. Jamie was literally translating sentences from high dimensional beings and my spirit guides. My understanding is that Susanne Wilson (https://www.carefreemedium.com/) also has these abilities and she's been tested by scientists. She is difficult to book but open appointments pop up from time to time. I've heard of another medium that had these abilities and she is no longer living. Her name was Anne Gehman and she was the subject of Suzanne Giesemann's book called The Priest and the Medium. Anne Gehman's life was very interesting because not only could she see and hear spirits but she ended up marrying a priest and they had a lovely marriage. I highly recommend meeting with someone that has these abilities, it is a life changing experience to talk to someone that can see and hear spirits.

I started reading Jamie's book after our session. It's called With Love and Light. She talks about her experiences of seeing spirits when she was little and how comforting that was for her since they were her friends. She also talks about learning later in life how to create boundaries with the spirits so they aren't talking to her and trying to get her attention at all hours. Jamie also explains that she didn't think mediumship was a legitimate job so she trained to become a massage therapist but people kept calling her for mediumship readings. At one point in the book she describes what it's like to trance channel, which means she allows the spirts to merge with her and use her body to speak. During one of her channeling sessions she says she was taken to the spirit realm. Below is the excerpt:

"I could still see the Native American patterned rug beneath me as the walls diminished, shrinking smaller and smaller until out of view. A mist of white light crept softly around my feet. What my eyes were seeing was something I could only conjure in dreams yet the sensation of being in it far outweighed the whimsical state of dreams.

Glancing up toward my left I watched as three enormously tall angels appeared. They stood at least nine feet tall, each gleaming a distinct color; the first was blue, the middle one violet and the last one pink. All three had wings positioned back and up as if they were going to fly over my head. I imagine wings to be made of soft white feathers, but theirs were slow swirling masses of thick energy. Not wanting to look like a novice, I contained my excitement and questions, remaining as quiet as a mouse. And of course, not talking was the deal I made in the beginning. This was not my first time seeing angels, but it certainly felt like it. As surreal as my journey felt thus far, there was more to come and I needed to stay alert.

A building in the distance caught my eye (and my thoughts) and suddenly I swept past the greenest of grass, immaculate gardens with footpaths, flowing waterfalls and people of all ages as I instantaneously found myself at its entrance. This was at the top of an enormous set of smooth marble-like stairs. The doors were made of glass and strangely they were without hinges. How do they work without falling off? I pondered.

As I absorbed the panoramic view I was very surprised to discover I was within a city. Everyone here appeared healthy and strong. I noted the median age of the people to be around 30, or maybe they were mimicking my age? Quickly I entered the building, encountering level after level of neatly organized scrolls. A woman in white greeted me. Speaking telepathically she explained to me how every scroll was arranged in alphabetical order and by merely thinking of the name I needed, my body would instantaneously go to it.

“What if a person’s name has changed? How will I find them?”

“Any name old, new or spiritual will lead you to the correct chronicle of that person’s lives. Allow your body to show you. Only think of the person’s face and your destination will appear.” I could tell by her smile, she really loves introducing new concepts to others.

I was distracted by trying to remember these details and truly forgot about my body. My hand tingled as I touched my chest, but it did not stop at what I know to be my physical perimeter. Wow…I feel solid, alive, and vibrant; better than I have ever felt. Dropping the line of inquisition within myself, I went on to check out the library.

I thought my name, Jamie Butler, and glided all the way up to the 6th level, straight to my scroll. I removed it from a small compartment and unraveled the scroll to take a peek. My spiritual name and Earth name were imprinted in the top right hand corner; along with my birth date and location were astrological symbols mapping the location of the stars and planets at the time of my birth. Below this information were details of my life goal, all the lessons I have chosen to learn and the happiness I incorporated into this lifetime.

Various words and lines were blacked out like a top secret FBI government file. At first I wanted to complain, but I understood this necessity. Spirit beings are there to guide, assist, and help. They are not permitted to interfere with our lessons or hand over information that needs to be learned independently while we are living. Often I wish I could have gotten the undisclosed details, but I know I will benefit greater from the life lesson. I looked further, seeing line after line cataloging my lives and a list of people with whom I have had interactions. The scroll went on and on. It was incredible to see all of these particulars documented. Suddenly I became aware of my time limitation; I returned the scroll and left.

Outside on the steps were groupings of people. I stopped to inquire for the time. My human mind was still governing my movements. I needed to know how long I had been here so I could guesstimate how much time I had left. Did I ever get a head full of information! In the future, when I understand it more I will attempt to explain what happened. For now it will suffice to say that time is a manmade element and Home is a timeless place."

This account of what it's like to be in the spirit realm is very consistent with near death experiences and those under hypnosis. What a beautiful experience. I definitely recommend Jamie Butler's book called With Love and Light.
