In my other blog posts, I explained that the purpose of life is for the experience, learning and the evolution we obtain by just being in a physical body. We learn so much along the way through duality, emotions, and relationships. We always learn and evolve through a human incarnation.

However, I've learned that we also have very specific purposes as well. What I mean by this is that we are all unique Souls due to the training and learning we obtain in the Spirit Realm, as well as the many incarnations we have had. Each and every human on this planet has gifts and tools they bring to their human life. For example there are Souls that work with the animal souls in the Spirit Realm and come to Earth to work with animals. Sheila Gillette said something that stuck with me, "humanity is a symphony and everyone needs to play their own unique instrument". How do we figure out our gifts and purpose though?

Darryl Anka is a renowned channel that has been channeling a being known as Bashar that provides detailed wisdom about the universe. If you struggle to get your head around this then I would suggest focusing on whether the content is helpful. Let me share what Bashar suggests in regards to finding your own purpose. I have found that his suggestions are consistent across other channelers and spiritual teachers (below can be found in the book, The Great Awakening by Mike Dooley and on the Gaia streaming app):

  1. Follow Your Passion - Passion and excitement are your Soul/Higher Self telling you that you are on track. The Higher Self guides us through our life using energetic messages which are translated through excitement and joy. The excitement you feel is the Higher Self telling you, this is your path, this is who you truly are.

  2. Act on Your Passion to the Best of Your Ability - When you act on your passion you are co-creating with your Higher Self. Bashar says that there are two reasons why your excitement or passion will temporarily or permanently wane:

    1. It's an opportunity to examine your belief system and clear fear-based or negative beliefs

    2. If it's naturally going away then it's your Higher Self telling you to change course. For example you may find something you are more excited about or may need to move on to the next act.

  3. Have Zero Insistence on the Outcome - He says this because as humans, sometimes we don't fully understand the path from our perspective. The human brain can be limiting and our Higher Self has a higher perspective.

  4. Stay in a Positive State - It's important to stay in a positive state because our thoughts and words are energy and manifest. Love attracts love and fear attracts fear.

  5. Investigate Your Belief Systems - It's important to investigate your belief systems and release those that don't serve you. For example, if you find that you are blocking yourself due to fear of what others will think, things your parents, grandparents or other family members told you growing up, religious beliefs....etc then you need to decide what's true and right for you.

Bashar explains that when you do start to follow your path, synchronicities open up to you. You start to feel more energetic, everything becomes easier, and synchronicity organizes what you need to act on, in the order you need to act on them. Essentially, you start to co-create with the Universe. You are in the "flow". The Law of Attraction says that you attract or manifest based on your thoughts and vibration. So Bashar explains that if you are following your passion and excitement then the law of attraction automatically works for you.

As you continue to act on your passion, you start to see the old belief systems that aren't in alignment with you and they become more obvious. It's important to release and clear those belief systems that are holding you back and blocking you.

This is all a work in progress for me but I can see how the above works. When I look back at my life, I can see that when I didn't listen to my intuition, I was forced to get off that path or that the path became more challenging until I finally changed directions. For example, I stayed with a job for too long and I was at a crossroads. My intuition was telling me to quit my job but instead I decided to stick it out a little longer. I ended up getting laid off anyway. It was like the Universe telling me..."ok if you aren't going to get off this path then we are going to make it happen for you". Once I was laid off from my job, I started researching the purpose of life and if an afterlife exists which has become pivotal to my growth and happiness. So for me I would say, to be continued.....
