The Energy of Money

In the last couple months, it's become obvious to me that humanity is at a critical point in our evolution. We are waking up to our reality and humanity needs to change for the better. This is an important time in the overall evolution of the human species. We have technology now and we need to increase our understanding of consciousness and spirituality in alignment with the increasing technology. As part of this evolution, we need to change how we think about money.
While I was researching consciousness, spirituality, and manifestation the last couple years, I noticed that spiritual teachers would often use the term, "abundance" instead of "money". They said that the term "money" was low vibe because people have negative emotions about money, which makes it difficult to manifest. I can understand this. Historically, the human species has witnessed money used as a tool to limit humans and for corruption and greed.
I've been meeting with channeler, Stephanie Banks for almost two years. A channeler is someone that merges energy with a spirit guide or higher dimensional soul and speaks as the spirit. When I met with Stephanie recently, I told her the following: "Money is interesting to me because there are so many emotions attached to money. A lot of negative emotions since money has historically been used as a tool for corruption, greed, and keeping a large percentage of humanity in suffering. I see money as an energetic exchange for service. If all humans had their needs met like food, water, and shelter then we could get to that place where we could use money as intended, as an energetic exchange. People wouldn’t be in survival and fear mode about money. The fact that people are in survival and fear mode prevents them from attracting abundance to their life. However, my thought is that I won't be around to see such a thing. I'm curious what the spirit guides say about this."
Stephanie said, "Okay let's invite the money guides in...." then she started speaking and said the following:
"Why thank you, thank you for the introduction. We are so glad to be here at this round table. You’re right, this is how it is meant to be, this is why it was invented, this thing you call money, this energy. It was invented to make things easier, to make life easier so that one did not have to cobble shoes in order to receive chicken eggs. It goes back literally to that plain and simple fact and exchange to make living easier. But there are those who saw opportunities to hoard, opportunities for greed, investing, divesting, resourcing, those that take it to the extremes. It is indeed hoarded and accumulated into the coffers of far fewer and distributed poorly, so very poorly to those who are not only in need, but those that are absolutely deserving. The whole idea that there are some that are more deserving than others, wow, this is quite a bit of unpacking and unlearning that humans will need to engage in.
You are correct in your musing that perhaps you will not see such a massive change to the way you would like to see it, towards the vision that you like of sufficiency for all and ease of movement. But of course, the energy of money always wants to be in flow. We want to be in the delicious flow of this energy. Energy that has stagnated becomes problematic. Energy that is grabbed and grasped, sat on, stomped on, hidden away, kept under wraps, it will fester, mold, it will be the cause of disease, injury, and karmic cycling. So better to have it be in motion, service, better to have it be in the most fulfilling avenues for this energy to find its way to and be the purveyor of such activation.
And that is part of your role of course as you are recognizing all of this. This is not something that you will fix for others, it is something however, that we very much entice you to fix for yourself, as there is much that is fixable here. For there are patterns of thinking that you are not fully aware of that you have, that are outside of what you’ve just clearly stated you want your belief system to settle on and to always come back to. So in this way we guide you to find another, for whom their relationship to the energy and resource of money is inspiring to you. And it will have nothing to do with their stagnant wealth or any amount, it will have to do with how much is put into flow in the world. That is where you get excited, activated, energized to see how much beauty, healing, and good the energy of money can offer when it is in flow in the direction it is most called.
We invite you into a practice. It is very simple in nature. Why don’t you channel your money, why don’t you channel the energy of your money, find out where it would like to go today. That can be your question each day where would you like to flow today, would you like to move towards me or away from me. You can play with the energy of calling it in most especially if you have a destination for it. If you would like, say for example $100 to come your way, somewhat unexpectedly gratefully, and joyfully and then you have a place where you would like for that to land. Let us say your local food bank, animal shelter, or the person who you have noticed holding the sign on the street corner. Now you have a purpose for it, now it is in service too, and you can test your manifesting powers so lovingly and with astonishment.
And that is ultimately what the energy of money wants to do, it wants to be in service of course, it wants to delight, it wants to astonish, it wants to provide sufficiency through being in constant movement, motion, flow. That is the point of it, that is the whole point."
Very interesting, right? Per the suggestion in this channeling, I've been taking a long look at how I view money and the guides are right, I do have some old emotional issues I needed to work through. I grew up with the viewpoint that money equated to anxiety, fear, and stress. We must save, save, save or we will be on the street hungry. Of course I don't blame my parents, grandparents, and ancestors for this relationship with money. Our parents, grandparents, and great grandparents grew up with wars and recession. They were in survival mode and they didn't realize there was any other way to live. But alas, we are evolving and there is a new way to live and that is to thrive.
I found a teacher that specializes in the energy of money. Her name is Sarah McCrum and I've been listening to her speak on podcasts. A couple important points she makes:
When we follow our passion, we attract money automatically. Follow your joy and what feels good and stop doing what doesn't feel good.
We need to value ourselves and feel good about the services we provide and companies we work for. When we feel we are doing the right thing for humanity and the planet, we will automatically attract money.
Spiritual people often struggle with charging money for services but this is actually a red flag for not valuing yourself. You should still charge money when you are doing a service for humankind. What you charge equates to how you value yourself. If you truly know you are helping people, then you should charge for your services.
Money is the currency of connection, it brings people together. Money is actually an energy of love connecting relationships and humans.
Money is freedom. We are given money in exchange for a service and it has unlimited potential once it's in our hands.
We sleep on a bed we bought with money, eat food we bought with money, use a toothbrush we bought with money. Money is ingrained in our lives and we need to create a good relationship with money.
We need to feel relaxed about money in order to attract it. Worrying about money does not attract money.
Pretend money is a person, what is your relationship with money? Do you love money and does money love you? That's how we need to change our thinking.
Looking back, I made the most money when I was excited about my job and I stopped making money when I felt disenchanted by my job. My relationship with money will be something I am working on, understanding my emotions related to money and how I can change those emotions.
How can we all view money with love instead of fear and survival? How can we all follow our passion and make money at the same time? This is all possible and people do it, we just need to get out of our own way.
I definitely recommend listening to Sarah McCrum talk on podcasts, she's pretty brilliant. Here are a couple podcasts I listened to recently:
She also has a course starting soon on the ShiftNetwork. Link below:
