The Lifecycle of a Butterfly and Humanity's Evolution

Humanity will ascend and evolve over the next couple of decades. But what does this mean? Below is how I envision humanity changing:

• Becoming more spiritual

• A greater awareness of the energetic universe

• A desire to take better care of our planet

• Wanting everyone to thrive instead of focusing on competition

• Gaining a greater awareness of our place in the cosmos

Our bodies will also slowly change. I believe they will become a little lighter and more buoyant as our density changes and we evolve.

Last year, I met with a woman who trance channels, and while she was under trance, I asked her how long it takes to ascend in density and what the process is like. She told me that it is much like the life cycle of a butterfly.

This analogy really stuck with me. My husband and I walk our kids to school every day, and along the way, we pass a milkweed plant. A couple of weeks ago, my son noticed a caterpillar on one of the leaves. Each day, we would check on it, and we ended up observing its entire transformation. Below are the pictures I took:

We saw the caterpillar on a leaf.

The next day we saw it hanging on a leaf in a J shape.

It was either later that day or the next day we saw it formed in the chrysalis. We couldn't believe how fast it had changed. The stage where the caterpillar is in its chrysalis is much like a stage during the human spiritual journey. At times we need to quietly go within and rest in the comfort of our own house.

We checked on it everyday and it remained in the chrysalis for about 2 weeks. My husband went to check on it this past weekend and he saw the butterfly next to the casing of the old chrysalis. You can see the white casing on the leaf below the butterfly.

My husband said that it needed to flap its wings a little and practice a short flight to another leaf before flying away.

Does the caterpillar know that it is transforming? No. It simply changes over time. Then, when it emerges as a butterfly, it has become something completely different. The butterfly can see how it changed as it looks back in time.

Not all caterpillars transform into butterflies at the same time. Each one undergoes metamorphosis when it is ready.

I believe humanity is much the same. We all evolve and transform at our own pace, at the right time for us. We go through our individual experiences as human beings, and some of us may grow faster than others. But there is no right or wrong way to grow and evolve. We each have our own journey, and we transform when we are ready.
