Why Aren't More People Awake?

The last couple years I've been receiving evidence and clear signs that there is much more going on than what we perceive with our physical senses. I would tell people about my mediumship classes or the books I was reading but many times it was as if people couldn't hear me. I wondered if it was better to not share my interests and research. In a channeling session with Stephanie, I asked my spirit guides why it feels like people can't hear me sometimes, why it feels like they are zombie-like. Is it due to soul age? Are those that aren't awake just younger souls? Below was his response in the channeling:

"You will find different schools of thought on this and I should say dearest that none are wrong for there will always be, if you stretch out explanations far enough and extend them beyond what the mind immediately thinks of, there will always be some semblance of truth in anything you read. Even the most false that you would immediately disagree with and could disprove on every level, if you stretch it, if you extend it, you will find the origin point which came from some sense of someone’s truth which cannot be argued of course.

So what I would say to you, those that are walking about zombie-like as you say, completely disconnected and disassociated from the collective as it were, are well within the collective and holding a state of sturdiness. So let me do my best at explaining. If the planetary energy for the humans was only populated with those in the awakened state, eventually it will be much more so but that is a tipping point that the humans have not yet reached; but if it were so, you would have a lightness, floating, and interdimensionality that is not yet fully embraced or embodied or even by many welcomed. For it seems foreign or perhaps to some even dangerous thus they hold on to where they are, strictly within the 3D world. And as such they are stone-like. Now you could say this in the negative respect as you have experienced with the frustration of attempting to connect with stone-like beings but if they were stones or rock faces to which the waves of the ocean broke upon, wouldn’t you find them to be quite beautiful, wouldn’t you find them to be holding a purpose of a slow, very slow wearing away. They are the creations of sand. It is an important role they play.

So yes you are also correct in your musing considering them to be younger souls. Indeed, indeed, it is these generally speaking younger souls that are walking about strictly adhering to the 3rd dimensional material world. They are so vastly appreciative of this 3rd dimensional material world, and how do you think this makes the 3rd dimensional material world feel? That’s right, quite happy, quite appreciated, quite acknowledged. And so while I am saying this in a bit tongue in cheek it is also true that when anyone appreciates any thing, that thing when it comes in energy is in recognition of that appreciation and feels it on some level. Does a stone, shirt, or shoe feel? These are things you would have to stretch and stretch out to get to the space of truth, to acknowledge that on some level all energy does have some feeling, sensory, and awareness.

So having said all of that, here’s my advice to you because this is the question underneath the question, how much do I invest in conversation, contact, connection with others who seem so divorced to what I know to be true, who I find myself to be completely bewildered by their lack of openness. I say to you dear one, I would say go ahead and invest, invest not in the changing of anyone’s mind for that would be an empty pursuit but invest in the speaking of what you have sensed, known, walked, what you currently live, where you are at.

So I say yes, even with these annoying distractions, even with these activations in the field, even with these people that you find yourself bewildered by, it will go so much farther than you could even imagine if you simply are speaking what is true for you. That will inherently allow for them to have the stretching and the opening that they are needing.

Let me remind you of something dear one, let me remind you there are no accidental conversations, there are no happenstance interactions, that everything is part of a grander woven web that is being weaved among all life upon this glorious beautiful planet and your place in it is very important and far more impactful than you could know."

After the channeling my first reaction was, "Oh my, some people really like this material 3D world". It was a strange realization to me because I assumed people felt similar to me as in, why am I here and why the heck did I incarnate on this warring and emotional planet. Interestingly, my guide commented that if more people were awake, we would be living in a different reality, we would be in a higher dimension. Thus, my soul chose to incarnate on Earth in the 3rd dimension for a reason. There are many harmonious planets in higher dimensions but perhaps the learning isn't quite as intense. The amnesia and feelings of separation in the 3rd dimension are very challenging.

I've been practicing being present and appreciating this planet more and I've realized that this planet has a lot to offer. Apparently we have an emotional range that is not often found on other planets, we have an extremely diverse population of humans and animals, and a huge planet with a very diverse eco-system. Because we have such a full spectrum of emotions on this planet, artistic creation like music, writing, and art is truly breathtaking on our planet. So even though I don't care about some of the material things that some people enjoy like designer clothes or purses, I do have a lot of appreciation for the natural world on this planet and the diverse population that exists here.

Let me address the point on young souls. There is no spiritual caste system and no soul is better than another. All souls are considered equally special in the eyes of Source and the spirit realm. Nonetheless, I do believe that some souls are more experienced based on how many incarnations they have had and the learning obtained in the incarnations. Thus, I do think this has a factor in the behavior of some people on our planet. I think my guide was making a generalization based on the 8 billion people we have on the planet. So why would a more experienced soul wake up before a less experienced soul? Perhaps the more we go through the incarnation process of birth, death, birth, death...etc over and over again and we have completed more learnings, we start to "remember" more. It's a familiar feeling like I've done this before. This is just a theory I have though.

However, if we dig into the details of a person's soul plan, some souls may be "old or experienced souls" but they want to enjoy the material pleasures that a 3rd dimensional planet has to offer so they will keep the amnesia strongly intact throughout the life. The other point is that a soul will want to learn what it feels like to experience something like addiction or the death of a loved one so that the soul can help others. There can be many different reasons at the individual level why some people keep the amnesia heavily intact and other people start to remember who they are as a soul. My own soul chose for me to not wake up until I was close to 40 years old for the reason of wanting to experience "younger soul behavior" and the material pleasures of the 3D world, the channeling is in blog post The Soul's Perspective on Materialism.

Even though there's a percentage of the planet "asleep", I believe that humanity has started going through an ascension process that involves more people waking up. Waking up to what you ask? That we are all eternal souls, we have the ability to connect to our guides, angels, and star families, and there's a spiritual purpose to our life. I don't think the increasing interest in meditation, near death experiences, mediumship, extraterrestrials, and quantum physics is an accident, and I don't think it's an accident that this mass awakening is happening in alignment with the rise of AI technology.

The other point my spirit guide was sharing here is that even though people may not have the same interests in spirituality and the cosmos, I can still share my truth and some people may be curious and some not and both are okay. I do realize now that one of my purposes for this incarnation is to share knowledge. Personally, I like sharing through writing because then people can approach me and discuss if they would like. However, if someone asks me what I'm interested in and what I do in my spare time, I'm comfortable now sharing that I like to research topics on consciousness, spirituality, and the cosmos and write about them. I've noticed that if people are interested they will ask more about it and if not then they change the subject or tune out whatever else I say about it. This is not for me to judge as this is a person's soul plan on whether they want to know about all this stuff. I'm happy to talk about other stuff like potty training, kids sports, and the weather.

You will also notice that my guide initially discusses the concept of Truth. This is an important point that continues to keep cropping up in my research. Truth is based on a person's perspective and their own journey. Truth comes from our own intuition and heart. I will never judge someone for following their own intuition and truth. It's important for humanity to recognize this and respect different opinions and beliefs. Perhaps if people understood this concept there would be less fighting over political and religious beliefs.
